H&M

At H&M, I led weekly re-hangs focused on specific departments, creating detailed floor plans, selecting samples, and curating outfits using Trend Theory principles. I styled mannequins to highlight current trends and aligned them with the Biggest Selling Products (BPs) for maximum impact. My work ensured the department remained fresh and visually engaging, driving customer interaction and boosting sales. Through these tasks, I honed my skills in garment presentation, trend clarity, and high-density displays, consistently contributing to business success.

ALLSAINTS

At AllSaints, I transitioned from stylist to Visual Merchandiser, where I was responsible for enhancing store layouts, styling mannequins, and creating engaging window displays, all in alignment with the brand’s visual guidelines. Each month, I worked on executing seasonal directives by conceptualizing and designing innovative presentations that elevated the customer experience and boosted sales. My role involved curating themed destinations, showcasing my ability to merge creativity with brand strategy to drive retail success.

KAY SUKUMAR

In this project, I collaborated with international photographer Kay Sukumar, where I played a key role in conceptualizing and ideating various shoot concepts. By developing mood boards inspired by high-end fashion brands like Gucci, I helped translate creative visions into visually cohesive outcomes. My responsibilities included sourcing garments and accessories and styling impactful looks, ensuring each visual element aligned seamlessly with the overall theme.

SUE RYDER

For this project, I conceptualized a spring-themed window display using fresh leaves and recycled materials. I created mood boards, coordinated with the team on task delegation, and planned the necessary materials. I then executed the window display and styled the stage area, ensuring a cohesive and engaging presentation. On the day of the fashion show, I provided visual support, enhancing the event’s overall impact. This experience sharpened my skills in creating visually compelling displays and managing collaborative projects, all essential in my work as a Visual Merchandiser.

LAKME FASHION WEEK

At Lakme Fashion Week, I worked backstage on stage styling and art direction, assisting with both model styling and the interior setup of the show and ramp. This role required quick decision-making and attention to detail, ensuring that every visual element aligned with the event’s high-fashion aesthetic.

MADISSON

As a styling consultant for Madisson, I oversaw lighting to ensure it aligned with the shoot’s theme and enhanced the overall visual impact. I collaborated closely with various designers to curate cohesive looks that reflected the brand’s identity, from garment selection to final presentation. My role involved coordinating multiple creative elements, ensuring consistency in styling, and enhancing brand storytelling through meticulous attention to lighting and visual aesthetics.

ELLE MILAN

For Elle Milan, I styled a two-page spread and cover featuring an Italian-Indian model. The shoot’s theme, inspired by spices, focused on vibrant colors and bold prints. I curated looks that seamlessly blended otherwise contrasting elements, creating a striking visual narrative that perfectly captured the fusion of cultures and the magazine’s vision.

SOCIAL MEDIA STAR

In this project, I handled set direction and styling while leading concept development and ideation for campaign brand pitches. My role involved script creation, planning promo videos, and managing customer relations. As Assistant Producer, I coordinated a team of video editors, set assistants, and technicians, overseeing both creative and technical aspects to ensure smooth shoot day execution and high-quality production.

CHOLA BRAND

For Chola’s campaign shoot, I conceptualized a unique narrative inspired by the brand’s ethos of freedom and movement, set against the backdrop of the quarantine. My vision explored the idea of a brand feeling trapped, cut off from creativity, as if losing oxygen in a confined space. Through self-portraits, I aimed to visually capture the struggle of maintaining creativity in isolation, reflecting Chola’s spirit of breaking free from constraints, even in challenging times.

TIGER & TWIG

For Tiger and Twig, I handled interior and spatial styling for homeware product shoots, setting up on location with carefully selected props. My focus was on creating visually appealing setups that not only showcased the products but also highlighted the brand’s commitment to sustainability. This project allowed me to blend creativity with strategic styling to enhance the brand’s visual storytelling and appeal.

HANSEL AND GRETEL

Inspired by the classic fairytale, I transformed the Hansel and Gretel theme into a horror movie concept for this two-day shoot. I focused on set direction and lighting to create a chilling atmosphere, while all garments and props were handmade from recycled materials. The final result was a striking poster that blended sustainability with a dark, cinematic interpretation of the childhood story.

FINESSE MAGAZINE

For the Finesse magazine cover, I led set styling and art direction for a gender-neutral theme, highlighting the concept of gender fluidity. The shoot aimed to demonstrate that clothes transcend gender, and beauty lies in self-expression, regardless of who wears them. I was responsible for designing the set, including creating and painting concrete-like props to symbolize love and acceptance in harsh environments. Additionally, I coordinated with the styling team, managed lighting and visual composition, and ensured that the set aligned with the overall narrative of inclusivity and fluidity.
